Desktop Application

Local Data Storage: The StoryFlow desktop app stores all your books, chapters, characters, and settings locally on your computer in a SQLite database. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to publish to the bookstore.

API Keys: Your Google Gemini API key is stored locally on your device and is only sent to Google's servers when generating AI content. We do not have access to your API key.

AI Content Generation: When you use AI features, your prompts and book content are sent to Google Gemini for processing. This data is subject to Google's privacy policy.

No Telemetry: The desktop app does not collect usage analytics or telemetry data.

Website and Bookstore

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. This information is used to manage your account and purchases.

Published Books: When you publish a book to the bookstore, the book content, cover image, and metadata become publicly available. Author information you provide is displayed with your published books.

Purchase History: We maintain records of your book purchases to provide access to your library.

Analytics: We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how our website is used. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.
